Confessions of…. Customer Service

In terms of quality and customer service, we are the best…

  1. What do you like about your job?

Every day is different and you’re speaking with people from all around the world, helping people succeed in their job searches. We have a great team in the office, we tend to laugh everyday and have fun whilst we work.

  1. What is your typical day?

Completing 100’s of CV reviews, to give people pointers on room for improvement, then if they are struggling we can help them further with one of our CV writing packages that cater for all levels and all industries.

  1. What is your naughtiest work habit?

It’s really naughty, Katy (Head of Service) will kill me for saying this as it drives her mad……. I do like to check my send/receive button on my emails works, which consists of clicking it several times very quickly, as one click is never enough.

  1. What makes you happy?

Hearing of people’s successes once they’ve hit the market with a CV produced by ourselves, playing with one of the office dogs and golf, I like golf.

  1. What is your favourite work snack?

I do love the spicy transform-a-snacks, or if I’m trying to be healthy a banana, that’s not too banana-rey (or too ripe to the rest of us)

  1. What is your Guilty pleasure?

Domino’s Texas BBQ pizza, with wedges, garlic bread and cookies.

  1. What would you do if you weren’t a CV Consultant?

Ideally a professional golfer on the PGA tour, chasing the sun, it’s always summer somewhere in the world.

  1. Why CV KnowHow?

In terms of quality and customer service, we are the best, as we deal with everyone as an individual and create truly bespoke documents for every order.

  1. What is your pet hate?

People typing loudly on their keyboards, a touch will suffice, you don’t need to hammer it!

I started off as a CV Consultant here at CV Knowhow and I am now the Writing & Service Manager. I have a degree in Classical History & Philosophy and after graduating, I experienced the heartbreak of searching for jobs with no real idea of how to apply or write a CV. I love being creative and using my skills to help others, the best part of my day is when someone we have helped gets in touch and lets us know they have secured their dream job! I am usually found in the office with a brew (tea, not coffee!) and my main weakness is cheese, preferably melted on toast, but on a cracker works just as well.
